Coach Steve has over 40 years of experience coaching youth baseball for players from 4-18. The Knudsen family has had a rich history in Little League since 1957. The baseball field in Sausalito, Konnie Knudsen Field is named in honor of Coach Steve’s dad. Steve currently serves as President of SMC Little League, presents training and assists coaches and parents at various levels. He is a 24 year Army veteran. Coach Steve has been married to his wife, Lesia, for over 40 years. Together, they have three grown children, four grandchildren and have foster parented several teens. Coach Steve tutors at Sausalito Marin City School District serves as a mentor to young men with the Marin City Fatherhood Council, and leads a group called Rock Solid Men. Coach Steve’s passion to help others find purpose in life AND have fun playing baseball is fueled by his faith in Jesus Christ.
